With continuing rising rates in health care and many Americans lacking primary health care support (e.g., a regular physician), many larger employers have the opportunity to leverage their ability to provide support to employees and oftentimes, their family members. Employers are looking at a range of services from onsite health coaching, telemedicine, acute & primary care services. There is emerging evidence on the impact of these services, but work still needs to be done with the use of technology and emerging electronic measurement tools. The following WSJ article provides additional insight:
